They are our parents. Our grandparents.
They’ve shaped our community and our lives.

Our elders deserve the highest quality of health care, delivered with compassion, respect,
and dignity. With more seniors in immediate need of care, please help us be there.

HERE’S WHAT YOUR SUPPORT WILL MEAN FOR ELDERS IN SURREY:

Your gift by December 31 will be MATCHED, making twice
the difference for elders and their families in Surrey.

By making a caring donation today, you will help seniors carry on living healthy, independent lives in their own homes. You will help us be there when they are in need of specialized care, from dementia support to stroke rehabilitation. And you will help us deliver the highest quality of care with compassion and dignity in the comfort of home at our Long Term Care facilities.

You’re helping elders with dementia continue to live and thrive.

Your generosity supports 72 patients at the Czorny Alzheimer Centre — a peaceful, home-like residence designed to care for patients with safety, dignity, and connection at the forefront. From tranquil gardens, safe walking paths, personalized memory boxes, and daily activities, residents enjoy meaningful moments that bring comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging.

You’re helping stroke patients regain their independence.

Your support makes life-changing rehabilitation possible for patients at Surrey Memorial Hospital’s 20-bed Stroke Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, the only one of its kind South of the Fraser. Here, a skilled team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists work closely with each patient to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence after a stroke.

“When Nancy arrived, she could move around a little, but not much. Five weeks later, she walked out with a walker — and now we take walks to the beach and she has lunch with her girlfriends again.”

– Stan, husband of Nancy, stroke patient
