About Our Presenter
Juvena Burns is an Operations Director at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre with over 20 years of experience in Medical Imaging (MI). She holds a Master of Business Administration and is a registered medical imaging technologist. Having started her career as an X-ray Technologist, she was later a Manager in MI at Surrey Memorial and Royal Columbian Hospitals, a regional manager in Lower Mainland Medical Imaging, and a Director for Special Projects before moving into an operations director role.
She has also worked on several hospital redevelopment projects, helping to design and model future imaging departments in the lower mainland. Juvena’s passion for her patients, team, and health care specialty is what drives her focus and attention to ongoing improvements and excellence in her field.
