The Surrey Hospitals Health & Research Network represents the next evolution of Surrey Hospitals Foundation’s long‑standing investment in research, education, and health innovation.

For more than a decade, the Foundation has worked alongside academic institutions, health partners, and donors to support research and health initiatives and fortify care environments that respond to community needs.

Amplify

The SH Network amplifies research and health initiatives by strengthening what already exists in Surrey expanding reach, accelerating progress, and increasing impact across hospitals and care sites.

Align

The SH Network aligns partners, priorities, and investment to reduce fragmentation and ensure research, education, and health initiatives are coordinated, complementary, and focused on shared outcomes.

Fund

Through targeted funding we prioritise research and health initiatives directing investment where it can be leveraged, shared, and embedded across the network.

Catalyze

By bringing people, ideas, and resources together, the SH Network catalyzes innovation creating momentum that turns opportunity into action and drives lasting change.

Why Surrey, why now?

As one of Canada’s most diverse and fastest-growing cities, with some of the highest patient volumes across clinical sites in the province, Surrey offers a unique opportunity to direct philanthropic investment toward patient-centred care initiatives that improve outcomes today and advance future care.

Advisory Council

The Surrey Hospitals Health & Research Network is guided by an Advisory Council composed of healthcare, academic, philanthropic, and board leaders who support strategic direction, stewardship, and alignment with community priorities.

Details about the Advisory Council and its members will be announced shortly.

Research Initiatives
